Cox Mill to Host Mega Basketball Event

On December 3 and 4, Cox Mill High School will be hosting the inaugural Battle at The Mill in partnership with the North Carolina Basketball Coaches Association. We will conducting 13 games over two days. In addition to a loaded boys’ lineup we will host three girls’ games. One of the unique features with the Battle at The Mill is every school is a member of the NCHSAA.


The boys’ lineup includes the defending 3A State Champion Weddington, 1A State Runner-Up Lincoln Charter, 4A State Runner Up Ardrey Kell, and 2020 1A State Co Champion Henderson Collegiate.

Tickets for the event will go on sale each morning (December 3 and 4) at 6 am via Prepurchased tickets do not guarantee entry into the event due to potential capacity issues.

Friday tickets are $10 and Saturday tickets are $12 – Digital Only

Tickets(Will go live at 6am day of the game): - Friday - Saturday

We will limit the number of NCHSAA passes, and will not accept NCCA passes.


Games will also be streamed via Hoop States, and will be produced by Cox Mill High School students.
