Sports Registration Info

All student athletes must register each year for the current school year to participate in sports, All athletes must have current physical on file with trainer. Athletes only have to register once for the entire year even if playing multiple sports. Click on the blue tab at top of page labeled: Mount Pleasant 2020-2021 Athletic Registration to register.

5 Items Athletes WILL Need First Day Of Try-Outs

  1. Must have completed their "Online Athletic Participation Registration".
  2. Must have completed the "NCHSAA Initial Screening Form":
Hopefully, all students will have this form on Day One, however, if they do not, then I would not stop them from trying out as long as they have all other items and they are properly screened that day.   You can have the parent fill this out when they come pick up their child if child does not have it for some reason at the beginning of day one tryouts or at worse case can turn it in before day 2 of tryouts.  This is a new form and some middle school parents may not be fully aware so we will work with them on day one.
  3. Must have an "UP TO DATE" PHYSICAL:  Remember, due to COVID-19, the State Board of Education and the NCHSAA Board of Directors extended the validity of physicals dated on or after March 1, 2019 for the 2020-21 school year.  Any athlete that had a physical before March 1, 2019 must have an updated physical and present that to the school A.D. or A.T. before being allowed to participate in tryouts.
  4. Must have a MASK:  athletes must wear at all times unless drinking.
  5. Must bring their own WATER BOTTLE.
