Summer workouts for high school fall sports and bands will be postponed until July 20, 2020. This decision is being made out of an abundance of caution. Our decision to delay summer workouts aligns with Governor Roy Cooper’s directives for the state regarding the COVID-19 pandemic as the numbers of positive cases of coronavirus continue to rise.

As always, Cabarrus County Schools will continue to follow the guidance of health officials to protect the health and safety of our students and staff. We look forward to getting our athletes back on campus safely and will update you should these plans change.

This mandatory form (NCHSAA Initial Screening Questions for Students to Participate in Athletic Activity During COVID-19) must be filled out, signed by both parent and student, and turned in on the first day of summer workouts. This form must be completed, signed, and dated on the actual first day of workouts (July 20th) and not before.
