Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Cabarrus County Schools will offer a Spring Sports only schedule for the 2020-2021 school year for middle school students. Fall and winter sports will not be played this year.
Sports that will be offered this spring are: baseball, volleyball, boys and girls soccer, and boys and girls track. The tentative start date for middle school spring sports is Monday, March 22, 2021.
This mandatory form (NCHSAA Initial Screening Questions for Students to Participate in Athletic Activity During COVID-19) must be filled out, signed by both parent and student, and turned in on the first day of workouts. This form must be completed, signed, and dated on the actual first day of workouts and not before.
The R.I.S.E. program offers experiential learning opportunities for High Schools students. Check out Cox Mill High School student, David Katz , interviewing an Industry Sports Marketing Professional.
